I Was Asked To Review This NLP Hypnosis Course – What A Remarkable Experience.

I have been a Hypnotist, Hypnotherapist and NLP Pratitioner for many years now but I get asked my opinion on new books and courses all the time. I usually don’t have the time to do many but this is one of lifes amazing exceptions.

My publishing team begged me to review this particular course and so this I have done to the best of my abilities. I could forsee problems from those who I had turned down in the past – but what the heck – when my publisher asks me to do something, its really an order dressed up lol.

I will call this researcher Anita (which is obviously not her real name). Anita had been working for me for almost 5 years and she knew that I have a bit of a thing about the very low standard of information which was being given to people who were investigating becoming involved in the remarkable medium of hypnosis. I am even in the throws of writing my own course and this is why Anita had come across the resource that she did.

So, it was with this background that I began my review of this new course.

Having now reviewed the course, I have to say that I could now see what all the fuss was about. I was a bit frustrated at my lack of ability to be overly critical in many areas but this just symbolised how strong this work really was (or should I say is).

I went to the sales site that I had been given and was immediately pleased that the sales wasn’t huge – I cannot stand the really long ones that seem to never end. I can not hold my attention fo rso long and it makes me a bit grumpy so a short letter was a pleasant surprise. The free bits were also good because I found myself wanting those in isolation to the product – that does not often happen.

John is quite an impressive character, he is an NLP Master Practitioner and a Master Hypnotherapist and clearly knows what he is talking about.

I came to the testimonials and I decided to send John an email asking for copies of these firstly to see if he would or not, secondly to see if they were really. John replied asking me what my intentions were and I replied telling him that I was reviewing his product. He responded by sending me copies of the originals and I could see that they were genuine.

It was obvious reading the letter that John was passionate about the subject and I could identify with this. I dont like dealing with people with no passion.

His course paradoxically was appropriate for both beginners and as an intermediate refresher for existing hypnotherapists and I could see that it would be a great introduction if the claims made on the site were indeed true.

I witnessed that he had a 100% guarantee on his site which is a good sign as it showed me that he was confident in his own products ability to do what the sales letter said it could.

I decided to purchase the course and I was a bit startled at the cost – only $57 – I havent paid less that $1,000 for a course before – I am only interested normally in top quality material – after all I am a professional. You wouldn’t expect Bono to sing from a microphone that had been purchased for $10 from Walmart would you ?

The product was downloaded to me instantly and I printed it off – as I am not a lover of going through a course by staring up into a screen.

The book was well laid out and it has 110 pages split up into 15 chapters. These chapters were on good basic subjects such as; The History of Hypnosis, Hypnosis Myths, What you can with Hypnosis, specific interventions such as quit smoking, weight control, overcoming anxiety, nail biting, phobias, insomnia and many many other headings too numerous to list here.

As I continued through the book, I was very pleased at the standard of the pictures and at how appropriate that they were in relation to the text. It is my experience that some people just throw any old picture into text to get it out and sold as soon as they can. As I read, I came across an amazing reference to ‘Hypno Sleep’. I knew that this was a Dave Elman technique from many years ago and I just didn’t expect to see this advanced process in such a book. Hypno Sleep is the most effective method of helping old people and children alike and was one of my personal little ‘Secrets’. Try it for yourself, contact a hypotherapist or hypnotist and ask them about ‘Hypno Sleep’ – they won’t know what you are talking about.

It took me a few hours to go through the whole book and overall I found it very well researched, beautifully illustrated and put forward in an easy to understand manner. In the interests of providing some balance to this review, I must admit that there is a negative element to my findings of this hypnotherapy course.

The only subject which I thought needed changing was the price. Now I know that many people would be happy to pay only $57 for such a manual but I also know that many people value something relative to what they have paid for it. I myself sell courses which are all over $1,000 and I have sold many of them, so I know my subject.

I am considering approaching John Hill and asking for some kind of joint venture but I could not do it at this price and I do not think that he should either. It is my intention to contact John and recommend to him that he increase his price to a minimum of $597 – this is what I consider this book to be worth.

so, what do I recommend? To you I recommend that you buy this course whatever its price – it really is a good example of how to get into hypnosis or how to get better at it if you are already involved. To John, my recommendation is to drastically increase your price and $597 would be my recommended price.

I have to pass on my congratulations to John Hill – he has produced a sound and really conscientious introduction and update into the remarkable world of learning nlp hypnosis. This book is going to be a very good seller and so it should be.
